oh my bad i read it wrong they won 70+ district games...anyone know any of there key players then??

Dysart, Whited, and Austin are the ones that ring my bell. Those guys, in my opinion, pretty much did it all for Appy athletics when they were there.
Kelly played in a tournament in Kingsport against the likes of Sullivan North, Central, South, DB, etc the spring of 2000. After a game at Sullivan North, Shupe took the team to Hardees down the road from North. 2 kids had already ordered before teh manager told Shupe that the coaches did not eat free. Shupe told the boys to get on the bus and demanded refunds for the boys who had already ordered. Finally, the manager relented and feed every coach a combo meal and dessert!!!

I heard one about Mickey d's, cant remember when or exactly where it was they told me but...he was at MD's and did the whole coaches eat free bit, threatening to take them else where and he sat down to eat and not a minute later he yelled at one of the players to come over there...he said "hey, look at this, this is nothing but grease..i cant eat this...take this back up there"...the player said coach if i take it back up there, theyll spit in it and Shupe replied "I dont give a damn, I can eat spit..I cant eat grease" lol
